WHO WE ARE:
New Beginnings Animal Rescue & Rehabilitation was founded in 1998 by Ashley Costello. Our rescue pulls animals from shelters that may be deemed unadoptable due to treatable medical issues or disabilities. On occasion we will take owner surrenders. We are foster based and do not have a public location to visit. NBARR is open by appointment only.
NBARR obtained 501(c)(3) status as of January 21, 2021.

Longest Resident
Hi I am Nani! I have been with NBARR since August 14, 2025. I am a little shy and have a neurological issue that causes me to have a slight head tilt, but I am the best girl ever. I am looking for a quiet home as the only pet or maybe a home with a very calm older cat.
Small Animal of the Week
PEACHES
Peaches has been with us since May 19, 2025. She is about 6 years old and has had quite a bit of health issues since we took her in. She has had to have 3 dentals since May 20th and due to her having to have her teeth filed or trimmed by the vet every couple months, she is a permanent resident at NBARR. Peaches isn't up for physical adoption, but you can virtually adopt her by donating toward her food bill (she loves kale, blueberries and soft timothy hay) or toward her ever growing vet bills. She is the sweetest piggy we have ever had in the rescue and is just the best little cuddle bug.
